CREATE CHARACTERS WITH BUTTONS AND EMBELLISHMENTS

To create bird accents, Cathy embellished buttons with googly eyes, patterned paper, and feathers. A chipboard branch grounds the accents, while a stamped sentiment balances the design.

A cool color scheme provides the backdrop for Leslie’s nature-inspired Mother’s Day card. She embossed the background paper with a circular motif for added texture, then attached chipboard accents and sentiment.

USE TRIM AND EMBELLISHMENTS TO ADD DIMENSION

Erica trimmed die-cut paper to fit the top of her card base, utilizing the curved edge as a design element and allowing the blue background to show through the die-cut flower near the top of the card. A label holder frames her greeting, while brads punctuate floral motifs, adding dimension and color.

A decorative edge adds interest to the first flap pf Mellete's C-fold card design. Stitched rub-ons and a die cut embellish the second layer of the card, with solid pink paper creating contrast with the green scallops.
